| You may be aware that #GivingTuesdayNow is taking place on Tuesday, May 5th. It is a global day of giving meant to help non-profits like The Phoenix Center address funding gaps for a variety of reasons caused by the Covid19 Pandemic. We are participating in #GivingTuesdayNow this year and, as in the past, your participation will mean so much to its success. The Phoenix Center is hoping to address the funding gap due to the cancelation of our Casino Night scheduled for May 1. The proceeds from this event exceed $35,000.Your participation in #GivingTuesdayNow will mean so much to closing this gap. Funds raised will offset the loss due to the cancelation of Casino Night with 20% of these funds going towards The Phoenix Center Family Emergency Relief Fund. In the past, these funds have helped families pay for basic needs such as rent, their electric bill, groceries, healthcare needs and more. The need is even higher now due to the pandemic.
